Here’s how it works: Let’s say you want to bid on The Cove in Yarmouth, Cape Cod vacation and you are willing to bid up to a maximum of $1,000. The opening bid is $250 and subsequent bids must be made in $50 increments. Your opening bid of $250 is entered on the bid sheet. As the bidding progresses, your remote bidding representative will keep an eye on the item and enter bids on your behalf in $50 increments only as needed, but not more than the maximum you have authorized.
